This is a very interesting beer. It is a lager that really drinks like an ale. It has a dark red color, and it starts with a sharp malty flavor, then settles down into the characteristic smoothness of a sudsy lager, while retaining notes of sweetness and spice. The finish is a delicate fruity sweetness that doesn't turn sour at all. It's really something.
